Can I use my own custom rental contract?
Yes. You can enter your own contract text directly in the settings. If you have an existing contract in PDF format, you can copy the text and paste it into the system. We also provide a base rental contract template that you can customize. We recommend having a lawyer review your contract before publishing it.
Can I require customers to upload license and insurance before or during booking?
Yes. You control this. The software lets you require documents before booking, after booking, or at pickup. You can also choose not to require them at all and collect documents in person. This keeps the booking flow in your hands and reduces abandonment when customers do not have documents ready.
How does document collection work in the online booking flow?
When you enable document collection, the booking flow can include license and insurance upload in one place with payment, contract acceptance, and pickup selection. You choose when to require documents (before, during, or after booking) and whether to require them at all. You receive a notification with the customer's contact information and any uploaded documents when the booking is complete.
How am I protected if a renter gets in an accident?
If you enable document collection, renters can upload insurance so their policy can cover them in an accident. We recommend reviewing each booking to verify valid insurance before releasing equipment. With commercial fleet insurance on your end, you have protection on both sides.
What about insurance and deposits?
Built-in deposit collection, insurance verification, and damage claim tracking. You can require security deposits, verify insurance certificates, collect waivers, and track any damage claims through our integrated system. All documentation is stored securely and accessible anytime.
Can I have different contracts for different equipment types?
Yes! You can set up a default rental agreement that applies across your account, and also create equipment-specific rental agreements tailored to particular equipment types. This way, when a booking involves a specific type of equipment, the matching agreement is used automatically — giving you full flexibility to address unique terms, liability clauses, or usage guidelines for each category of equipment you rent out.
