What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing and do you offer annual billing?
Yes, we offer both monthly and annual billing options. With yearly billing, you pay for 12 months upfront and receive a 20% discount compared to paying month-to-month. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle unless canceled. You can switch to annual billing anytime from your account settings or select it during signup. We accept credit cards for monthly billing and ACH bank transfers for annual subscriptions.
What are the costs for additional users and other add-ons?
Essentials includes 1 user, Growth includes 2 users, and Scale includes unlimited users. The Scale plan includes unlimited locations. We don't offer per-seat user fees.
What are the marketplace fees and how does revenue sharing work?
We take a 20% commission on the booking amount for orders generated through the Big Rentals marketplace. This commission only applies to marketplace orders. Bookings through your own website, referrals, or other channels are yours to keep 100%, with only standard payment processing fees applied. The marketplace acts as a customer acquisition channel, and you only pay when we successfully bring you new business.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
No. HQRent is month-to-month with no long-term contract required. If you decide it is not the right fit, you can cancel at any time. We also offer optional annual billing at a discounted rate for customers who prefer to lock in savings.
Is there a setup fee?
There is a small setup fee so we can provide customized, hands-on onboarding and support to help you get the most from the platform and maximize your business growth.
Will my price go up if you raise prices later?
We may change our prices over time to cover the cost of continuing to improve the software. If you pay for a yearly plan, you're guaranteed to lock in that rate for the full year. We'll do our best to keep our prices low and affordable.
Do I get a website included and what features does it have?
Yes. Growth and Scale plans include a professionally designed website built for you by our team. You provide your logo, photos, and brand preferences, and we handle the rest. We can typically have a first draft ready within 24 hours of receiving your assets. Your website includes professional design tailored to your brand, an integrated booking system that syncs with your inventory, and premium hosting with SSL security, all included in your plan. We also handle all ongoing hosting, maintenance, updates, and SEO optimization. You do not need any technical skills.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, the new features will be available immediately. When downgrading, the changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No setup fees for upgrades.
